Canada Maple Panda Table Tennis Grand Smashes

 

The purpose of the Canada Maple Panda Table Tennis Grand Smashes is held during Christmas, New Year, and Spring Festival, thereby enriching the types of holiday activities during the year-end festival.

Generally, the year-end Grand Smashes starts in November and ends in February next year. This year, the competition starts on August 29th and ends on New Year’s Day. Registration period is from July 10th to August 10th. The press conference and group draw will be holding on August 15th.

Tournament introduction:

* The largest table tennis event in Canada, with 144 athletes from all ethnic groups.
* Will be streamed in Youtube, pandacup.ca and aChina1.com. Canada and foreign media, Panda Cup and University Cup Wechat group have nearly 3,000 people rolling publicity for half a year.
* The schedule design is reasonable, and many athletes are at the national level.
* The National Table Tennis Association of Canada and the three levels of government in Canada fully support this event.

Athletes:

The accept registration age is 15 years old and above, you can register in the name of an individual or a group, and the nationality is not limited.
Number of Men’s singles: 32 people;
Number of Women’s singles: 16 people;
Number of Men’s doubles: 16 pairs;
Number of Women’s Doubles: 16 pairs;
Number of Mixed Doubles: 16 pairs
All registration fees are: CAD 60/person
In order to facilitate schedule design and competition arrangement, the participating teams may be less than the design number, but not exceeding.
In this competition, the organizing committee will try its best to set the strong players as seed players based on the strength of the players they understand, and to spread them into different groups.
Each person can only limit to one single event.

Awards:

Championship: $500 CAD. The large Grand Smashes Cup, with the name of the champion engraved on the base. The winning champion will keep the Cup for one year. It will be returned to the Organizing Committee 2 months before the start of the next Grand Smashes. A gold medal and a permanent small commemorative cup.
Runner-up: $200 CAD, runner-up trophy, silver medal.
Third place: $100 CAD, third place trophy, bronze medal
The top 8 are all issued with exquisite certificates.
The competition results include prizes; quiz points, $200 CAD, $100 CAD for runner-up, and $50 CAD for third place.

Competition Rules:

The qualifiers were completed in the form of a round-robin group of 8 teams, and the second stage was decided by knockout.
The top four in each group stage qualify and stand out.
Matches are best of 5 gamess, 11 points per game. If ties at 2:2, the final game is a 7-points game.
In the second stage, each match has a one-minute timeout.
The group stage consists of 8 round-robin matches and 4 players/pair qualify. The second stage is a knockout.

加拿大熊猫杯乒乓球大满贯比赛

加拿大乒乓球年终大满贯赛事举办的宗旨是在圣诞，新年，春节期间，举办跨越三节的乒乓球大赛，从而丰富年终节日期间的假日活动类型。年终大满贯一般在11月份开始比赛，在2月春节期间结束。今年比赛时间为8月29日开赛，至元旦新年结束。报名期间在7月10-8月10日，8月15日为新闻发布及抽签分组会。

赛事简介：

*全加拿大最大规模的乒乓球赛事，参赛各族裔高手144名运动员。
*Youtube, pandacup.ca, 天下华人全程直播。加拿大当地以及国内
媒体，熊猫杯及高校杯微信群近3000人半年滚动宣传。
*赛程设计合理，参赛运动员许多属于国家级水平。
*加拿大国家乒协以及加拿大三级政府全力支持。

运动员：

年龄限制为15岁以上，可以以个人或团体名义报名参赛，国籍不限。
男子单打：32人； 女子单打： 16 人； 男子双打： 16对；
女子双打： 16对； 混合双打： 16对
所有报名费为：60加币/人
为便于赛程设计和赛事安排，参赛队伍可少于设计值，但不得超过。
本次比赛，组委会将尽量根据了解的比赛选手实力，将强手设为种子选手而分散于不同小组。
每人只能限报一个单项比赛。

奖项：

冠军：奖金500加币，大型流动大满贯杯，底座刻冠军名字，由获胜冠军保存一年，待下届大满贯开始
前2个月交回组委会，永久性小型纪念杯和金牌。
亚军：奖金200加币，亚军奖杯，银牌。
季军：奖金100加币，季军奖杯，铜牌
前8名均发精美证书。
比赛成绩有奖竞猜活动积分冠军200加币，亚军100加币，季军50加币。

赛场：

计划在GTA的阳光俱乐部，MTTC，CCTTA，Vaughan 俱乐部，新星球馆轮流进行。
时间为选定的周六10AM–6PM

赛制:

预选赛以8队分组小组循环赛赛形式完成，第二阶段以淘汰赛决出名次。
小组赛前4名出线。
比赛均为为5局3胜制，若双方赛成2：2，则第五局为抢7赛制，
第二阶段每局比赛各有一次1分钟暂停权力。
小组赛为8队循环比赛，4队出线。第二阶段比赛为淘汰赛。
